Paul Scholes: August Player of the Month

Just how good is Paul Scholes?
Paul Scholes, 35, has been awarded Player of the month for August. Just how good is he! He recently scored his 150th goal  for Manchester United in all competitions agaisnt a 2-2 draw against Fulham FC at the cursed Craven Cottage Stadium by the river thames. He has been a superb servant for Manchester United in a career span of 16+ years since 1994. A perfect one-club-man

Paul Scholes has obviously changed over the years. He's not the same old attacking midfielder due to this age! However, the amount of quality in his long-balls is just tremendous. He has become famous for his killer passes lately.

Scholes has been in a superb form in August. He was awarded Man of the Match against the Community Shield game against Chelsea on 8th August, 2010 - which was an excellent way to celebrate his 1 year extension contract... In United's first game of the season, he was again the man of the match after master-minding two superb goals via lovely assists. In the next game, he was the only Red Devil to score against Fulham, of course the other one came from one of the Fulham defenders - Hangeland. Paul Scholes has been a delight to watch so far this season. What's amazing to watch is the amount of consistency he brings into his performance. He increases the tempo of the game through his killer balls.

Let's hope he carries this superb form for the important month of September where United sees Everton, Rangers and then Liverpool!
