Manchester United Will Bid €28m For Valencia's David Silva - Report
Manchester United are set to make a bid for David Silva before the World Cup Finals.
The Reds have been heavily linked with the 23-year-old forward in recent weeks, with Valencia set to cash in on one of their prized assets for around £25million.
This is a price Sir Alex Ferguson would be prepared to pay in the New Year, but Guillem Balagaue, the renowned Spanish journalist, believes Silva will see out the season in La Liga.
It is believed whilst the player would welcome a move to the Premier League champions, his priority is the World Cup with Spain so he is likely to see out the campaign in his homeland.
Ferguson, according to the Sunday Express, wants to tie up a deal before the tournament starts, though, and he could put the wheels in motion in January with the view to a summer deal.
