CSKA Goalkeeper is ROCK SOLID!

Manchester United look set to step up their interest in Russia goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, with CSKA Moscow indicating they are prepared to let United speak to the £10m-rater stopper in the January transfer window.

The CSKA Goalkeeper is indeed one of the best in the business, and being at the age of just 23 and the captain of a very successful team, one would say that his happy and long career has just begun.

If there is any team that want him the most, is Manchester United who are actively looking for a valuable replacement for the veteran Dutch Van der Saar.

Igor will be a valuable asset at United. United need to prevent goals in future, especially the easy ones that people like Foster go through.

Igor definitely deserved the Man of the Match for both the legs with Manchester United so far. If it wasn't for him, United could have scored roughly five more goals easily in the two weeks against CSKA! Igor saved one powerful shot from United after another. There were many occasions when he made some ultimate multiple saves! But the way he held Scholes' free-kick was REMARKABLE! He is United class and deserves to be brought in the Xmas transfer window. Maybe we should get rid of Nani and get Krasic in a swap deal.!
